Inspections and Storm Damage
Yes. There’s no cost and no obligation. If your roof doesn’t need work, we’ll tell you. Schedule your free roof inspection.
No. We can inspect the outside of your roof without you there, and we can even take measurements from aerial imagery. We prefer to inspect in person whenever possible, though, because it lets us be more thorough.
Most home inspections take about an hour. Larger or more complex roofs, like tile, slate, or commercial buildings, can take longer.
Yes. A roof that isn’t leaking can still be damaged. Hail can crack shingles, bruise the layers underneath, and knock loose the granules that protect your roof from the sun. Those problems often don’t show up as leaks until months later. You should always have your roof inspected after a hail storm.

Look around your property for clues: dents in gutters, downspouts, vents, and AC units; granules collecting in your gutters or at the bottom of downspouts; and dings on your car, mailbox, or fence. Insurance Claims
Yes. We work with all insurance companies. We document the damage and help you understand your options, so you can make an informed decision about filing a claim.
We recommend getting an inspection first. That way you’ll know whether there’s real damage before you file a claim. The Texas Department of Insurance also has helpful tips for homeowners after a storm.
It depends on your insurance company and your policy, so your insurance agent is the best person to ask. What we can do is give you an honest assessment of the damage, so you can decide whether a claim makes sense.
No. Texas law requires homeowners to pay their own insurance deductible, and it prohibits contractors from paying, waiving, rebating, or crediting it in any way, including disguised discounts. Violating the law is a criminal offense, and it can apply to homeowners who knowingly go along with it, not just the contractor. Your insurance company can also withhold part of your claim payment until you show proof that you paid your deductible.

Because it wins jobs, especially after a big storm. But a roofer who absorbs your deductible still has to make a profit, and that money usually comes from somewhere: cheaper materials, rushed labor, skipped steps, or an inflated insurance claim. Any of those can leave you with a roof that fails early, a denied claim, or legal trouble.
If a roofer offers to cover your deductible, treat it as a warning sign. A quality roof at an honest price is worth far more than a deductible “deal.”
